The one playlist you need to start your day on the right foot

Everyone’s mornings are different – mine is super lame and simple – just how I like it, as a non-morning person. I tap the coffee button that I had readied the night before, make sure the dog is good to go (she’s usually walked and fed before I even step out of bed, thanks to my amazing fiance).  Then I shower and throw on a dress. Minimal hair fixing required, and a bit more makeup if I’m headed to the office (eyeliner made its way back into my life now that I’m hybrid). Then I’m off for a 45ish minute commute. Even though I’m a low-key morning person, I’m all about starting the day with a little musical pep. Something that gets me going, but without feeling like I’m all up in da club (do people still say that?). 

So for this month’s playlist, I’ve got something to get your day going as well. It’s an eclectic mix  and has quite a few of those beboppers to get your day going. You’ll hear new Goo Goo Dolls from an album that just dropped last week, and OneRepublic’s 2nd summer hit. Three Dog Night is making their MTD playlist debut and of course, who doesn’t want to start their day with some Rihanna? Also, *new fave band alert*  we’re loving the female folk duo known as First Aid Kit- check em’ out! We know you probably don’t have over 2 hours to ease into your day, but we do hope any snippet of this playlist starts you off on the right foot and puts a little pep in your step.
